Privacy policy
Last updated 15 October 2026.
This policy explains what ARCBio Consultants collects when you visit arcbioconsultants.com or contact us through it, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
ARCBio Consultants LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive #27688, Austin, TX 78731, United States, is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions about this policy or your data go to hello@arcbioconsultants.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
We receive the details you enter: your name, company, email address, the topic you chose and your message. We also record the IP address the request came from, which helps us spot abuse of the form. We use all of this only to reply to you and to discuss any work that follows. The submission is delivered to our mailbox by email; it is not stored on the website.
When you browse the site
Our hosting provider processes technical data that every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use this to identify you.
Analytics, only if you agree
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us. It sets cookies that give your browser a random identifier and records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We do not use it for advertising, and we have not enabled advertising features. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
Cookies and similar storage
- arc-consent (stored in your browser, not a cookie): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don’t ask on every page. Kept for 12 months, then we ask again. Always set, because it records your choice.
- _ga and _ga_<id> (cookies from Google Analytics): distinguish visitors and sessions. Set only if you accept. They last up to 2 years.
You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Declining after accepting deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
The contact form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. It checks signals from your browser when you use the form, and Cloudflare uses them to provide that check and improve its bot detection, not for advertising.
Why we are allowed to use it
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we rely on these legal bases:
- Replying to your inquiry and discussing an engagement: our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.
- Hosting logs, spam protection and abuse checks: our legitimate interest in keeping the site and our inbox secure.
- Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else processes it
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the site for us, each under its own data protection terms:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and the Turnstile spam check.
- Resend: delivering contact form submissions to our mailbox.
- Microsoft 365: our mailbox, where your messages are kept.
- Google: Google Analytics, only if you accept.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on the safeguards they provide, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Contact form messages: 6 months after our last exchange. If your inquiry leads to an engagement, we keep the correspondence with that engagement’s records instead.
- Google Analytics: event data such as page views for 2 months, and data tied to a visitor identifier for 14 months.
- Hosting and security logs: kept by Cloudflare for a short period, typically days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Email hello@arcbioconsultants.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or UK and unhappy with our answer, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
