Rick Stock, Co-Founder

Rick Stock, PhD

Co-Founder

Rick leads ARCBio Consultants’ process economics team and brings more than 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing modeling. He has developed COGS, capital, supply and demand, and make-versus-buy models across vaccines, recombinant proteins, cell and gene therapies, mRNA, oligonucleotides, and small molecules, helping organizations evaluate manufacturing strategies, facility investments, and complex global supply chains. Rick holds a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering, both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Alexa Kopf, Co-Founder

Alexa Kopf, MS

Co-Founder

Alexa brings 15 years of experience across quality, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and technical consulting, including military quality systems and clinical product manufacturing at a global CDMO. Since 2019, she has focused on process economic modeling, combining hands-on manufacturing and QA experience with cost analysis to evaluate how process design, scale, and operational choices affect manufacturing economics. Alexa holds an M.S. in Pharmacology & Toxicology from Michigan State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Virginia Military Institute.

Clayton Powell, Co-Founder

Clayton Powell, MS

Co-Founder

Clayton has specialized in process economic modeling since 2020, modeling more than 40 pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products across mAbs, recombinant proteins, conjugates, advanced therapies, and small molecules. His work spans COGS, clinical supply, facility sizing, supply and demand forecasting, and scenario modeling, including analyses that have supported more than 25 successful global health grant awards. Clayton holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
